At Zuppykart, we strive to ensure that your daily essentials are delivered fresh, fast, and accurately. We understand that sometimes plans change or an issue might occur with an item. This Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which you can cancel your order, return items, or request a refund.

1. Order Cancellations

  • Before Dispatch: You can cancel your order on Zuppykart free of cost at any time before it is packed or dispatched by our local fulfillment center. You can check your order status inside your account dashboard.
  • After Dispatch: Once an order is out for delivery with our logistics partner, it cannot be cancelled. Due to the quick-commerce nature of our platform, routing changes and real-time transit costs prevent cancellation past this stage.
  • Cancellation by Zuppykart: We reserve the right to cancel an order under exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to: product stockouts, sudden delivery limitations in your locality, incorrect delivery addresses, or failed verification. In such events, a 100% refund will be issued instantly.

2. Returns and Replacements

Given the specialized nature of our catalog, items are categorized differently for returns:

  • Fresh & Perishable Items: Items such as fresh milk, dairy products, bread, and fruits/vegetables are non-returnable once accepted at the time of delivery. Please inspect these goods upon delivery. If an item is damaged or spoiled, report it to our rider or support team immediately for a direct replacement.
  • Packaged Foods & Household Essentials: Standard packaged goods can be returned within 24 to 48 hours of delivery only if the packaging is unopened, undamaged, and the product seal remains fully intact.
  • Upcoming Pharmacy Vertical: Once our healthcare services launch, prescription medications and specific personal hygiene items will be strictly non-returnable due to medical safety and compliance laws, unless the delivered product is verified to be incorrect or expired.

3. The Refund Process

When a refund is approved (due to a pre-dispatch cancellation, verified product damage, or an incorrect item delivery), the following timeline applies:

  • Payment Source: All refunds are automatically routed back to the original mode of payment used during checkout (e.g., your bank account via UPI, Credit/Debit card, or wallet).
  • Processing Gateway: We process refunds securely via our authorized payment aggregator, PhonePe.
  • Timeline: Once Zuppykart initiates the refund from our dashboard, the funds typically reflect in your bank account or payment source within 5 to 7 working days, depending strictly on your issuing bank’s standard processing cycles.
